My guess it that Josh Bell will play primarily DH, because I can't imagine the Twins are going to want his glove at 1B much if they're trying to improve defensively. But that's a legit and much-needed bat added to the lineup.

This was the Twins 40-man roster entering spring training this year. Really depicts the amount of turnover in just 8 months. Nearly half the roster has been cleared out. Julien and Gasper hanging by a thread.

Here's a wild 2025 Twins stat I just came across: They got a .656 OPS from the #3 spot in the batting order, lowest of any. Worse than the #9 spot. MLB average was a .780 OPS.

Hiring LaTroy Hawkins as bullpen coach is one of the best moves the Twins have made in a while, IMO. Not just nostalgia speaking; his qualifications are absurd. Twins bullpen is gonna be a big ol' experiment. Having one of the most experienced RPs ever overseeing it = very good.
