We still remember the London Blitz, which lasted eight months. Ukraine has been under attack for fifty-one months. You can help defend Ukrainians from missiles and drones.

Now even UN warehouses and humanitarian convoys are being hit, while the international response grows weaker and civilian casualties rise sharply across 2026. This is one of the most important pieces I’ve written in months. Please read, share and restack.

What should be abundantly clear to everyone by now is that when Putin speaks about "peace" what he really means is WAR. Putin wants to "end the war" not by negotiated settlement or by winding things down and taking what he can get. Putin wants to "end the war" by Russian victory.

1. London Underground station flooding has reportedly been reduced by around 90% thanks to a group of engineers: beavers. After conservationists reintroduced a family of beavers into a nearby city park, the animals built dams and restored wetlands that now absorb and slow floodwater naturally.

Nope. There's nothing that can substitute for the 4-8% we are losing each year in income per head. It's a delusion of both the left and the right that you can. The former think they can industrial policy their way out of it; the latter think they can deregulate the UK out of it. Neither true.

This was a 9-story residential building. Now it's rubble. This is what the Russians do to us if given even a brief ceasefire: they stockpile weapons so they can more effectively kill Ukrainian civilians. This is why we will never surrender to them. Surrender means death.

Anyone who falls for Putin's trap should be mercilessly ridiculed. Putin doesn't want a mediated peace deal, he wants to buy more time of Ukraine being pressured and coerced to make concessions to Russia. He'll use Europeans this time like he used Trump for the past year.
