Finding out Riley Rossmo is the artist for the Plastic Man story for Zatannic Panic has genuinely brightened my spirits for today. I was wondering to myself why I like this art in a so-bad-it’s-good way, and not like most of the other cheesecakey art or “he’s horny” jokes I sometimes see of Plas. Really, it all comes down to not making/repeating the “dress joke”.

I love that in the scans I’m using, this iconic scene of all the heroes together, a massive four-page spread, you can tell which one was fully digitally redone and which was more just scanned and touched up. I’m not sure of the actual process to be honest, but there’s a clear difference
