What an unexpectedly delicious afternoon! We got incredible pizza dough sandwiches from a place called Sandough (eatsandough.com), picked up a tub of original banana pudding & a banana pudding cookie from Magnolia Bakery, and then finally tracked down KitKat Chunky Peanut Butter bars. Yummy 😋😋😋

I unintentionally just ate my last two Girl Scout cookies for the year (I thought I had another box)… and am not dealing well 😭😭😭.

We just finally watched One Battle After Another tonight (thank U public library!). OMG I absolutely HATED it! Excellent acting, but I had a visceral reaction to the dialogue/story/characters. And yet I acknowledge it’s been ages since a movie has done anything but entertain or bore me. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

My husband got his updated Covid vaccine today 🙌. Thankful it was very quick and easy with our HMO. (I just got a 2nd dose of the 2024-‘25 version in May, so waiting 6 months between that and the new one. Flu shot acquired though)

We grabbed lunch (take-out) at the iconic Porto’s Bakery & Cafe today 😋. Picked up a few of our favorite Refugiados (Guava & Cheese Strudels), and tried their sandwiches for the first time. WOW… the Pan con Lechon (Slow-Roasted Pork Sandwich) was excellent!! Highly recommend it (if you eat pork). 👍

Borrowed “Godzilla Minus One” from the library today (had zero knowledge of the movie except that people raved about it, and it got an Oscar). Just watched it… and HOT DAMN, that’s a well made film! Went to Disneyland this afternoon just to walk around. Absolutely great weather today and good pin trading! It really wasn’t that crowded…but tons of rides were closed so that meant wait times on available rides were ridiculous. People were NOT feeling “The Magic” at all 😂.
