1/ I have huge respect for people with the courage to join the Global Sumud Flotilla. They put their bodies at risk because they do not believe their lives are more valuable than the lives of Palestinians.

The Liberals are quietly trying to rewrite Canada’s labour laws, and workers are paying attention. The NDP is the only party fighting to protect the right to strike, with a private members bill to remove the government’s power to force workers back on the job.

This is laughable, coming from someone who has been winking at the MAGA-aligned separatist movement for years. People who are losing sleep over climate change are not the ones tearing our country apart: we’re trying to save it. This summer Canada could well be burning faster than we can build it.

Today I proposed banning "surveillance pricing" — a creepy practice where corporations weaponize your personal data to rip you off. Deeply disappointed the motion was rejected. Canadians are already being crushed by sky-high costs. They deserve relief, not corporate exploitation.

The Health Minister calls herself the “guardian” of public health care. So why allow Alberta to move toward American-style, two-tier care where people pay out of pocket? She didn’t answer, she said she’ll get back to me. I’ll be holding her to it.
