Last night a cat was howling outside. I feed it & it disappeared. Discovered this morning it howled outside neighbours all night. They don’t have cats or food. I called it over this morning,fed it again. Having lunch outside. Look who is keeping me company. I guess I have another cat.

Been puzzling over this swimming beer hop/artichoke for a few days. The video quality is poor because I was at the surface and without my best lights. I think it's the sea slug Cyerce blackburnae, although the swimming style doesn't fit what it says in the description (from just last year).

So as I mentioned, went on a misty, windblown sun-shower hike in the cloud forest yesterday, and there found the Roundest I'iwi. More pics of this one coming but had to get this out there. :) #birds #borbs 🦉🌿📷

the Sheep Detectives is just the movie I needed to see. Just wholesome and wonderful. I particularly liked the neighbour Caleb's orange jerseys. Beautifully crafted, and a different one in each of his scenes.

'Cattle Clergy'. 2020. Ambient agricultural folk rock. Not the best production, IMO, but solid songwriting and some hugely atmospheric moments. Took SO fucking long and we were almost going out of our minds with worry but we eventually nailed the cover shot and I reckon it suits the music perfectly.

Wearing my new knitted hat today, it's lovely and warm.

Played tourist in my local town. Lovely winter day. Lunch with Hubs❤️ at Lake Tarawera, and then a stroll along the edge of Lake Okareka. The stroll ended up being 5 kms, and the sun was very intense later in the afternoon. 1/2 #Rotorua #travel #adventure #nzl 🇳🇿

Worn out. Busy day. Lasagna is in the oven, roasted vegies next to it. Finished the second coat of paint in my new creative space. Tomorrow is painting / touching up all the bits the roller missed, and maybe start on some architrave, or I could go out for lunch with Hubs❤️. Probably second option😀

Hubs❤️ had a MTB crash a few weeks ago. Concussion, broken ribs, collarbone. He cant drive, so I am chauffeur. While I wait at his appointments, I started to knit.
