2024 5th Rounder Jackson Wentworth had his best start of his pro career on Tuesday. He went a career high 6 IP, allowing only three hits, 1 earned run, one walk, and struck out a career high 9 batters (20 whiffs!!!)

Gage Stanifer had his longest outing of the season, going 5 innings, allowing 2 hits, 2 earned runs, 2 walks (2 HBP), while striking out 9 batters (11 whiffs). He faced trouble in the third inning, but settled down after that.

Can confirm, as @ByJackHarris reported, that ICE agents attempted to access Dodger Stadium this morning but were denied by the Dodgers. Images had circulated this morning of agents appearing to use the parking lots as a staging area.

The Dodgers are expected to announce their plans to assist immigrant groups affected by ICE raids today. Given that their lot -- which, yes, I realize is owned by their former owner not the current group -- is being used as an ICE staging area whatever they say is not gonna play well I don't think.

Gage Stanifer was listed as one of the five breakout pitching prospects. I'm really high on him and if he can develop a third pitch to pair with his fastball-slider combo, he'll be a really good starting pitching prospect.
