Ubisoft say that there's no way they could do a Rayman 1 remake. Thankfully there already is one. It's very good, and free. Combines all stuff bits from all major versions of the game, works in some QOL stuff, improves bosses, adds a new finale, etc. gamejolt.com/games/rayman...

You still need mods to make Rayman 2 work on pc and I can’t even get Rayman 3 to work but it’s cool Ubi Soft is making Rayman Legends look less good but adding depth of field so you don’t notice.
