I like Eurovision (You may also know me as @anngav)
Someone fraudently used my card to charge for 500 pounds of beauty services at a salon. I have contacted my bank to report this and if they ask for evidence it was not me I will simply take my hat off.

Am in a part of England with bad public transport. Went to the local bus service website to check the bus timetable. It is an hourly service. The uploaded timetable (January 2025) was incorrect. Of course no one is going to give up their cars with service like this.

1. I am a migrant. I have ILR. 2. People applying for ILR *already* pay National Insurance and need to prove they know English to a certain level and can't claim benefits. 3. What is "volunteering with your community"? What counts? I am very wary of these proposals.

There will be a lot of discussion in the Eurovision community (and beyond) regarding the upcoming participation vote by Israeli public service broadcaster KAN. Let's think smart about what we read?

Italian language: sounds beautiful; means what it says French language: sounds beautiful, but why are these descriptions like this? Anyway, I am having a little treat of APPLESAUCE on my train through France (English translation: compote of apples and vanilla. It was on the menu next to tiramisu!)

Update: My night train is going to be 90 minutes late with no information provided aside from a change in platform and a number on the board. Again, the toilet facilities are pay to use (after I've already paid for my train ticket) and there is not a single staff member around to address any of this

I love night trains. I want more people to ride them. I also don't want people to have to wait at unstaffed stations in the middle of the night without any services open and trying to find a way to get change to use the toilets. People won't choose trains over planes with this customer service.

Ask an immigrant with indefinite leave to remain how easy it is to sort out ID when getting a new job *right now*. This is a total disconnect from reality, racist, and stupid.

As some with a digital ID card PLEASE just give me a physical ID card that I can show in places rather than having to do a five minute rigamarole every time I try to prove my identity (and the last time I used it I needed to bring my passport as a backup anyway)

calling autism a âtragedyâ and saying that there should be fewer autistic people are eugenicist talking points. Everyone who opposes such views also needs to recognize the ways in which everyday ableism left the door wide open for a person like RFK Jr.

The FDA statement ends with a paragraph undermining its own warning. They signal parents to avoid acetaminophen. Except sometimes. And then: No âcausal relationship⌠establishedâ with ADHD or autism AND Alternatives to acetaminophen have âwell-documented adverse impacts.â

ACOG reaffirms that acetaminophen is safe for managing pain and fever during pregnancy. No reputable studies support suggestions like those in HHSâs recent announcement linking acetaminophen use in pregnancy to autism; in fact, high-quality studies show no such risk.

OKAY The reason you arenât seeing the 70 year olds with the autism described by RFK Jr is because they were all put in institutions as kids and kept Out of the public eye. It doesnât mean they donât exist or didnât exist.

When you leave office, the number will still be 1 in 10 or so because a. The diagnostic criteria changed B. More people (especially women) are getting diagnosed when they werenât before C. Thereâs just more autism because autistic people exist. Always have. Always will.
