I feel like the pressure to do promo for comedy stuff has gone way up in recent years to the point where I'm finding it difficult to actually find the time to make the comedy itself. Most of the time I'm drowning in copy, graphics, reels, and other bullshit. I just want to make stuff.

I can tell how bad my day has been by the number of Cranberries songs I listen to after 10pm.

So many great movies here, but I want to give a shout out to Detour. It's such a poisonous masterpiece. Ann Savage is a force of nature. There are a lot of shitty prints out there, but the @criterionchannl.bsky.social is the best one. Totally worth the membership for this one alone.

The arm on my Count Chocula action figure snapped off as I was trying to put him in a fun pose to surprise my wife in the morning. It wasn't me. Pretty sure I found the culprit.

I hate that the cost of everything going up has basically killed The Gentlemen Hecklers doing live shows. The cost of a venue, staff, promo, and licensing the film would mean we'd need to charge an admission fee that neither I nor the audience would be comfortable with. Damn.

The service will be 90 seconds long on high (120 seconds for two).

There was a very funny three year period where every Wikipedia photo of a living actor was from a comic con panel.

I've been lucky enough to have had this happen (and had folks dress up as *me* for Halloween). It was pretty rad.

Made this for a live comedy show a couple of years ago, but it's still relevant.

With all the commercialism I just hope people never forget what Halloween is really about: being all horny.

One of the best bits in Ahsoka was the moment where David TennantBot dumped a bunch of cool Rebels lore on @bitterasiandude.bsky.social and he was all "ok whatever." I've been on both sides of that conversation.

Highly recommend this Universal classic if you haven't seen it. "Unhinged" is the perfect word for it. And it's a very brisk 71 minutes!
