IMO this is the foundational truth of the act of coding all together! Coding is the act of turning implicit context into explicit context. Documentation, like this, is performing the same action but the output is an intermediate product that will eventually create code.

I've overhauled my puzzle level generation so a level is now "grown" like cell tissue in a triangle tessellation. New elements can be inserted anywhere, and the whole level deforms to make room. This makes it easier to control topology and create paths that loops around areas. #ProcGen #GameDev

On Friday I built a discord bot in a day! (Github link in final post) I've been playing Deadlock obsessively, and I wanted to have an easy way to reference items in a discord chat. When the bot sees mention of an item, it shares a link to it's wiki page and a screenshot of it's description.

You dont need to host your code on some random computer somewhere for it to run in the background! Yesterday I built a discord bot and now it’s an exe that runs as a service on my “server” laptop in my living room! It’s just as permanent and it’s easy to manage!

Playing deadlock most nights has been a really positive thing in my life! It’s led to hanging out with some really cool people and pushed me to plan a trip down to LA! What a wild turn of events

When Ava and I went to Prague we stayed at a hostel that was steps away from a spot called Vnitroblock (translates to “center of block”) which was a big heated area that had lots of couches, artisan shops, and a cafe/bar. You could just hang out, drink a fresh Pilsner or mulled wine, and work.
