I can’t leave New York because I haven’t been in every building yet

I did a lot this year and worked really hard, and made a lot of tradeoffs in the process. I still very much feel like I have so much to figure out. This was the year of being practical and more conservative than ever with my life choices, because I just needed to make money again…

My rugby club asked us all to sign up because a family member needed a transplant. Low odds, but I did the swab. ONE WEEK later they called me. I'm a match. Not for the rugby kid, but some random lady in TX who'd been waiting months for a donor. Do it if you can. You never know who you might help.

It's INCREDIBLY easy to just get on the registry, and if you're ever matched, you could end up saving someone's life. There are relatively way less Asians, both 100% and of mixed race descent, and it's always a huge challenge when someone needs a donor they can't find from immediate family.

Donor stem cells saved my husband's life. It's so easy to be listed on the registry - it's just a cheek swab with a cotton bud.

I’m looking for 100% Filipino people who are willing to submit a cheek swab test in hopes for a genetic match to my aunt, who is battling blood cancer. The registry for stem cells doesn’t have many Filipino people in it, and joining it could help many. Please share/reach out to me! bit.ly/4aiUIKQ

I was not expecting to feel so bittersweet after teaching the final class of the semester… omg I have post-class blues! Just like that, we’re done! 🤧 I’m really proud of my students and I’m excited to see where they go!🥹

I think of Angeline Era's character art as "gestural" vertex colors: big blocks of gradients and hard edges that loosely gesture at finer details. They are often seen very small on the screen, so it helps them not appear over-detailed. But I also think it looks beautiful up close!
