today. Spoonbill dropped in to the main reserve for about 15 mins. 1 Sanderling present. No sign of pec sand today... and thankfully the white-winged terns came back for a second evening to Ladybridge. Did mean two visits in one day though

Spring Sedge and Rare Spring Sedge are starting to flower in the polytunnel

habitat creation nursery. Already easy to tell apart, with Rare Spring Sedge (C. ericetorum) showing dark purplish- brown flowers, with papery edges to the glumes, and no green at all.
