Several hundred heavily-fuelled Pink-footed Geese gaining height slowly as they flew over Balmullo (Fife) beween 0645 amd 0720, this morning. Three big flocks. And one sad individual 'anking' pitifully as it flew back alone. Sounded like a juvenile. Confused? Under-fed? #BirdingScotland
