Full day at Fairburn Ings @rspb.bsky.social Sunrise to sunset. Cold but at least dry, and lunch in hide overlooking the Main Lake. 32 species seen in total including this well dressed Great Crested Grebe.

Mystified trying to find the field north of @rspb.bsky.social Adwick Washlands to find the White Fronted Geese. Wandered many a mile. But it was worth the trek! Besides the White Fronted Geese saw Pink Footed Geese and a bonus Treecreeper. 😊

Day at @yorkswildlife.bsky.social North Cave Wetlands. Well on with phase 2 now and good to see plenty of autumn visitors have arrived and wildfowl beginning to lose eclipse plumage. Well worth a visit.

Another Reserve knocked off. A day at Blacktoft Sands @rspb.bsky.social Excellent of which the highlight was a flock of 100 Pink Footed Geese coming into land.
