I’ve been trying to keep up my skills while I’m on leave from work, and was also backfilling my Discogs collection with things I hadn’t entered. I was frustrated trying to use their app’s barcode scanner and one idea led to another and now I have an app that can recognize albums by cover art.

Cautiously optimistic about things.

I love my cats so much. I deeply miss my late dog, Moby, but Lucky Earther and Sweet Onion are just the perfect companions right now. They’ve been snuggling with me all day. Lucky’s been purring deeply. Onion has been trying to catch my ponytail over the back of the couch. So soft and warm.

I think he is genuinely just a type of guy who really wants to know how things work and how he has unlimited access to every satisfy his every curiosity. It is so fun to see.

Watched some Deep Space 9 today. What a good show.
