I think even that was built on false hope. Purdue only has one actual good/signature win this season (Texas Tech). Bama has fallen off a cliff, Auburn is struggling. But there's no other wins Purdue has that points to them being a Final Four team. And the struggles lately don't help.

Well, that was a predictable loss for Purdue. You just knew it was coming after IU winning the title last night too, and the team playing like ass the last few games. The 2024 Final Four was this program's high mark. They're not going back this year at this rate.
