Can't wait to watch this whenever it screens in Boston

Exactly one year ago today:

I understand that a lot of folks have been misled by fear-mongering and powerful regressive voices but it’s still astonishing to me that so many have fallen for the idea that oppressively policing other people’s gender identity and expression could in any way be part of an enlightened future.

This is exactly what the internet is for.

If you ever want feel-good tears, go read the reviews of electric tricycles. There are so many great stories and photos of people regaining mobility, reconnecting with their spouse/friends/family, and just having fun.

I understand that this isn't likely to break through to most folks, because the deaths are out of sight, but the choices of this administration are killing people—hundreds of thousands of people, most of them children. We offered help and hope, and then we took it away, knowing they would die.

I am very much not having a good time today. Things have been bad already, but I have no idea what I'm going to do if my medical care gets banned and it just took one more big step towards being reality
