Just got home from a Chaos Draft, and I went 0-3 (but did it my way). However, My pick 1s were like, $44 in value, and my deck was stupid fun. 😊

The Pre-release Promo (un-stamped 😭) Hexing Squelcher, and my Pre-release deck... Azorious Fish Police. I went 5-0-1, and apologized after every game action. I got to feel like @steelcitybrad.bsky.social for one sealed event, and I won, but I honestly don't know how control players sleep at night.

My Pre-release got snowed out. LGS is doing another one tomorrow... I might be able to make it for that one? 🤞

An update: I went 5-3, which I found respectable. My final loss was utterly pathetic, as I got flooded, and Aang was exploded, immediately. 😭

Day was had! Went to the LGS for Commander! Swapped Borderless Foil Kefka to a buddy for my darling boy, Mog! (Pictured, so people can appreciate the glow-up.) Played some cEDH. Did the thing once or twice. Had pizza. Very good day! Carry on.

Got a hold of the Chocobo Bundle from my LGS. Probably shouldn't have bought it, on account of the crater where my PC used to be. Pretty happy with the results, considering. This makes for my third Traveling Chocobo, and the fanciest yet.

Boss, has the correct take. I'm a huge fan of Marvel and Stan Lee. Stan said, "Every comic is somebody's first." Same goes for Magic. Every set/product is somebody's first. Keep that in mind, and always try to be kind. I am much happier having new people to play with, and teach about the game.

Won (yesterday's) Commander League game. Took people to Balloonland. Lived the dream with Anointed Procession and Ojer Taq. 13 land drops on my final turn. These were the contents of my promo pack. I dunno about fate, but definitely, cosmic irony. Don't tell me Boros can't ramp.
