Yes! That or “little free pantry.” One of these was a lifesaver during a rough winter where we had literally no food and no money but lots of shame. It’s a low-stress way for people who need food to get it without a million questions or forms or judgement.

It’s storming today and I’m in pain (bad) but also the temperature is finally dropping (good). At least if I have to lay here and suffer I’m not also sweating out all the liquids I drink in the process.

If sticks really do come to an end and I end up with another car someday (inevitable) I’m going to need like a placebo stick or my brain won’t be able to handle it.

And if a kid in your life is participating in BOOK-IT!, I'd love to interview them if they're interested! (I have experience interviewing kids and young adults, and would get all appropriate permissions, protect privacy as needed, and have their adults on any calls, too.)
