I bought a cheap little French press a zillion years ago and it makes the best coffee even with mediocre cheapo coffee. I get like 3 small cups or 2 giant ones from a pot. Also great for making a big batch of tea.

A moka pot is $15. Get fine ground coffee, gently pack the grounds into the filter, fill the bottom with water, screw on tight, and put on the stove. While that's going, heat milk in the microwave then use a $10 frother on it. Syrups are $5 for a giant bottle. DO NOT CROSS THE PICKET LINE.
