I have heard that a pandemic doesn’t end until the next one begins, but having read that “Once H5N1 is spreading sustainably among people, authorities may have only 48 hours to prevent a pandemic,“ I now fear that the Covid pandemic will end when a worse pandemic arrives.

There are easy ways to prevent disease transmission. Do events outdoors if possible. Wear masks. Tell people to avoid coming to events if they are ill and tell them to leave if they show up sick. Use air filters. CDC told us all of these things several years ago
