Went to my very first mermaid convention and had a blast! Got to actually swim in a pool and not a river for the first time in forever (even though my river merfolk eyes are sensitive to the chlorine but thankfully I had a mask)

Didn’t have time to do a bunch of drawing for mermay so I just made a self portrait 🎨

I only saw about 20 min of the backrooms but had to leave bc it was kinda hard to concentrate over a theater full of people talking over each other constantly. What I saw of it I really liked so I can’t wait to finish it. Also not a total loss bc I got these cool fake coupons

Genuinely fascinated with how divisive the star fox designs have been. To my eye, it feels close in spirit to the original physical models, and better than a few in between. I love that he's closer to a real fox, it's fresh. Zelda changes it up constantly, why can't fox try something new?

Got to attend a river festival as a mermaid which is perfect since it’s mermay. Also since I “live” in this river for a good chunk of the year I’m taking the initiative to clean up the river bed and I’m hoping maybe seeing a mermaid do some clean up will encourage people to do the same
