The quailhogs of the wheatworld are fierce pack hunting predators that, despite any hopes and dreams they may have to the contrary, don't get much bigger than a guinea pig.

Pickling Pelicans evolved to eat hard-shelled animals by slowly digesting them within a gular pouch and spitting out the inedible exoskeleton. Unfortunately, they are also opportunists that will happily "pickle" nearly any creature that fits in their 70 gallon mouth.

The ryerunner, a predatory herbivore from an alien planet covered with wheat. Much of their diet comes from hunting other herbivores in order to steal their stomach contents.

The ryerunner, an ostrich-sized herbivore that lives on the wheat planet. Despite their plant-based diet, ryerunners are a predatory animal; they kill and "dissect" other animals to kleptoparasitically eat their stomach contents. Their white frill is heavily disorientating to prey in the dull light.

The larrow, a tiny alien that lives in a sea of endless wheat. They spend most of their life (a few hundred years) as a little ground dwelling "mole" and only gain sapience once they grow into their flighted sexually mature form, which will only live about 10-20 years.
