Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 79th day out of the last 91. The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown. It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

Primaries are there for a reason. I'm not interested in "vote Blue no matter who" especially as its given us people like Fetterman. Push to make Democratic candidates better or replace them. And with that, I think its time to drop Platner.

Voters should pick their representatives, not the other way around. Glad to get the chance to talk to some of the volunteers and organizers doing the hard work to make sure Prop 50 passes. This vote will have critical implications, not just for California, but for our entire country.

NEW: Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services just got an email telling furloughed workers to return to work Monday. They will be paid starting Monday, but won’t get backpay for precious furlough days until the shutdown ends.
