Is there someone dead in the lobby or is there someone in custody? Was the person armed or not? Did he make it into the ballroom or not? Usually there should be a pretty wide grace period on finding this out, but there are literally hundreds of reporters in the room and nobody knows shit.

He faked another assassination attempt? He's turning "near-death" into a multi-chapter grift. First one was theater, this one's straight fanfic. Bullets are CGI, wounds are makeup, and the only thing getting assassinated is whatever's left of his dignity. He can't even stage a decent hoax anymore.
