It’s happening…

Yesterday I was on the phone with a friend and as we were hanging up, he didn’t realize he hadn’t hung up yet. I heard him say, “I love Michael. He’s such a sweetie pie.” It made me smile

I told my husband and he said “I’ll make them for dinner.” I said “Do you know how?” And he responded with “I’m from Prince Edward Island, don’t patronize me”

How can I possibly be craving something I’ve never eaten before? I’m craving a lobster roll so bad right now.

Christmas really is the tackiest holiday. Why do we put all this junk on the outside and inside of our homes?

My husband brought home a chainsaw last night to cut the tree up. He usually keeps the tree up until the 6th of January. I think I’ve finally rubbed off on him.

My co-worker is hosting a Christmas brunch. She was getting stressed, so I volunteered to make the majority of the items. I think it turned out well.

I don’t know why I’ve held on to this memory but…I went to see a movie and there was a trailer for “The Help.” The lady in the row in front of me got super excited when she saw Sissy Spacek. She clasped her hands together in front of her face, stood up and said “Oh my god, there goes Sissy Spacek”

This is that one day of year, where I feel inclined to turn my phone off. “Merry Christmas” and “Happy New Year” text are sort of overwhelming…
