Yesterday, I was layered up because it was still winter. Today, I'm in my shirt sleeves. It was gorgeous on the beach this morning. Warm winds, rainbow-topped waves, happy meetings with lovely wanderers. View from the (original) sea-log-seat which is described in my wee book, #Windswept.

This morning's sunrise from the middle of a silhouette of mountains. By the spring equinox it will rise left of Baosbheinn (left on 📷). To me this view is a deep time clock, a natural calendar, marking the passage of seasons across a year, for years uncountable. You can read more in #Windswept

I have just finished Windswept for the first time and it is a book that I will read again and again. The writing is extraordinary, so detailed and descriptive across the seasons that I can see, smell, touch, taste and hear Red River Croft and its surrounds. Thank you.
