Since I’ve been sharing my exercise & training routine. I’ll also share this: I do 15-20 minute sauna sessions usually after using the treadmill. Runners actually call this “heat training” & it’s one of the most underrated performance tools out there. The benefits are similar to altitude training.

Something where you get to do something together & get to know each other. I personally avoid movies because you can’t talk to each other. I like simple things like mini golf, getting coffee, finding events to go to, picnics, doing an activity outside such as hiking or biking. Something low stakes 😀

I don’t know if I have any “crushes”, but I do find many people attractive on here. I don’t develop romantic crushes easily. When I do, I fall hard. It’s something I’ve been working on & have made significant progress on with no longer having an anxious attachment style or getting too attached.

A lot of people have also asked me what my ab routine is. As a runner, having a strong core is important. Now, I don’t have rock-solid abs, but here are my favorite core exercises as a runner. No equipment needed.

On the train home from Lakeview Run Club. I haven’t done an LVRC run in a few months. It was a great seeing everyone again. It’s just a great group if you’re in Chicago and want people to run with on Tuesday nights! 😊

I actually like waking up at 5am because it’s nice to be able to make breakfast and watch morning cartoons before the sun comes up. It sets a nice tone for the rest of the day. 😊

Running is just as much as a mental sport as it is physical. People don’t struggle with running because of their physical endurance, they struggle with mental endurance. It’s why so many people aren’t consistent with running. You have to trust that your body can do it. My advice to new runners:

I only call myself a “twink” as a joke because I’m too old to be a twink at this point 😂

With today’s run, I’m only 200 miles away from my goal of running 2000 miles this year. Today’s run was a 5 mile tempo run with a 1-mile warmup and 1 mile cooldown. Total of 7 miles.
