I feel like I’d try Elden Ring again if someone even remotely explained part of it. It was so fucking confusing & I had no idea what was going on.

We have a wonky #PSN controller (I refuse to throw it away because it’s only a year old & it is COBALT!) where the left joystick just sort of does… whatever. In some games, it’s not much of an issue; weird jittering. In other games, it’s like having a hard mode because aiming or moving? Good luck.

I miss being able to write. I had a whole book plotted out (actually four but only one had an ending) & the few friends who saw it were like “if done right this could be a new HP series… plus you’re not an asshole, just crazy, so we could read them.” I doubt that would have happened…

I wish my mind could use some of this pent of rage to fuel my stifled creativity… instead it seems to be fuelling my anxiety & depression instead. So I’m a useless, angry, blob with a spine grinding itself to shards while my imagination & writing abilities shrivel in rotted fruit.

Mum has some kind of cold (not the flu, so far), I had a med change (new meds plus two removed) & feel like I lost a fight with a sledgehammer, & to top it off… allergies. Betweeen something blooming (I know it’s the night blooming jasmine & I hate it) & vog, I can barely breathe. Fun.

I need to figure out how to use Procreate in lieu of Photoshop so I can cancel my Adobe subscription. My creativity left 5 years ago & never came back… I need to accept I don’t even remember how to use PS. The brain power that vanished with my creativity took my ability to learn new programs too.

I think I’m catching a cold. Or I’m just sick of the world. Either way, I’m not sure I’m prepared to leave this hot shower… when I leave the humidity will try to kill me, I will be wet & gross for hours, I will still feel sick, & the world is still imploding. So right now? Hot shower.

The last time I was always this sick… I was under extreme stress & depression. It was on a personal level, but hey… it’s the same feeling. So, I’ll slowly withdraw from humanity until I nothing but a myth in a book that doesn’t exist. Anyway, just a post to let you know I’m alive… still.

My depression is getting worse, so I’m miserable. But I’m miserable which is making my depression worse. It’s a perpetual loop I seem stuck in… it doesn’t help I feel like I don’t live in my house or that I’ll be alone for the rest of my life or that I hate myself. I’ll probably delete this later.

If BlueSky gets notifications (I miss so much otherwise) & a way to save posts for later (sometimes I can’t watch video someone posted because it would be rude to the people around) I’d be thrilled. I’m also glad we’ve all seeming picked a platform finally. I’ve missed my friends.
