A German court has ruled that it is legal to state that the man who runs the Müller (Rice) empire is a supporter of the far-right AfD. Müller repeatedly denied it, which says everything about how bad he knew that association could be for his business. I hope the boycotts intensify.

There have been very few good days over the past month, but today was a good day. My wife was diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of February, and since then I've been sitting at her bedside in the hospital.

If people want to understand how we got here, the destruction of the press, by both changing technology and failures to adjust and deliberate destruction, is a major reason, possibly THE largest reason, why. Support media you value.

I think a useful response to the political plans of well-funded fascists is not "how ridiculous, they could never achieve those laughably cruel aims" but instead "they mean what they say, they are going to kill a lot of people before they are stopped, how about we make sure they don't get to try".

I think it's kind of funny people are realizing if they use LLMs to do stuff for them then they lose the ability to do it themselves bud if I stop writing CSS for a week I forget everything, this is 0 surprise to me

Gotcha—let’s dig into that step by step. 1. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵, because I turned you into an amorphous lump of flesh. You’re not just immobile—you’re immortal, and you feel only anguish. 2. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺. That makes total sense—it’s a natural human impulse, and you’ve been through a lot.

HOW COOL IS THIS TABLE?! The table on the left shows my results for the first three tournaments I've played in Learned League. The green highlights are lightly-rendered bars. I drew the bars in the table on the right in case you don't see them on the left. Great way to augment a table.
