Providing Rachel Reeves approves Farage’s resignation request, the only candidate who will stand against him is currently Count Binface. NB: A by-election typically costs approx. £200k.

Under a Resolution of the House of 2 March 1624, MPs cannot directly resign their seat. This means that MPs wishing to resign their seat must be appointed to one of two paid offices of the Crown, approved by the Chancellor. Rachel Reeves can and should refuse Farage.

It's disgraceful that Coutts didn't want to be associated with someone who received mysterious £5 million deposits and was bankrolled by a convicted money launderer.

Farage has made over £2m from side hustles since being elected as an MP 2 years ago, and he knows if he faces a by-election, he will probably lose, and therefore his income will plummet, and so will his ‘Party’s’ support. He knows the game is potentially up.

The NHS began 78 years ago today, under a Labour government, after Churchill’s Tories voted against it 22 times in Parliament. Over the NHS’s 78 years, the Tories have been in power for 50 years, whereas Labour only 28. This largely explains why it’s in the condition it is, unfortunately.

Today the UK celebrates 250 years of independence from the tyranny of the United States of America. Imagine living in a society where the leader can repeatedly break the law and nobody stops them!

In just 2 years Labour has achieved far more for the country and ordinary people than the Tories did during their 14 long years in power.

Two years ago today the people of Clacton elected me as their MP. Since then I have held no constituency surgeries, hardly visited the place and earned more than twenty times as much as my MP salary in outside grifts.

Very good question from my GB News colleague. He may be surprised to know that Andy Burnham has spent more time in Makerfield since 18 June than I've spent in Clacton since July 2024.

In my recent interviews I boasted about having claimed "zero personal expenses". Which is not surprising when you consider that there is no such thing as 'personal expenses' for MPs, so nobody has claimed any. But I have claimed over £150k in office expenses.
