Did you remember that birds have been singing their love song for thousands of years? Did you know that there are rocks on our earth older than the solar system? Did you know they were named after a woman mathematician? Think about that next time you sit under ancient starlight.

I love the world because when you go deep enough in the ocean, things just start growing into leviathans. That there are fungi that live so long that the definition of mortality becomes shaky. That there are people so dedicated to mathematical mysteries that the research is inherited by generations

Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.
