A year and a half on, the most stunning thing about being a published cartoonist is that I somehow drew all of The Gulf with a micron. When I use one now I just want to not draw.

I wonder if kids discover Come On Feel the Illinoise by Sufjan Stevens or if it's so purely of the millenial-glockenspiel-indie era that it remains untouched.
