What's the easiest way to run a local PDS that keeps the data private?

The one thing I don't like about atproto: I have to get better at front end development because that's what it incentivizes -- front end apps with PDS for storage, rather than server-side templating

@flo-bit.dev having fun with Blento, but it seems deleting a card doesn't delete the record, and then that card shows up multiple times in the frontend? Am I missing something here?

Interesting idea came up during the workshop today at #ATmosphereConf. There is no verification of timestamps on the protocol. What about a “witness” service/lexicon that essentially asserts “I saw this at this time”. Having multiple parties attest to that in a generic way may be useful.

What if someone made a Bluesky feed that used this to filter posts? Maybe feasible with a locally hosted model? You could try out interesting rules like only showing joyful posts or something
