Our new journal paper has hit the front pages and got wide coverage on the airwaves this morning. The paper critically assesses “temperature neutrality” as a basis for Ireland’s long-term climate target. We find it amounts to backsliding on climate ambition and locks in food system unfairness.

Loyalists topping a giant bonfire with effigies of refugees in a boat in Northern Ireland is yet another illustration of how deep, putrid racism can endure for centuries within societies whose origins are colonial. Whole identities are built on being superior to others.

Great advice. There’s just that pesky risk of life in prison if this regime doesn’t last forever. Or if they decide to throw you under the bus for any reason. And every foreign intelligence service will definitely be targeting you already. Plus a small chance you might get torn apart by an angry mob
