Well that was a bit of fun.

Went to see The Magic Faraway Tree new film yesterday. Dear gods, it's Not Good. Drags on, not silly or magical enough and felt like it was a really bad school play. With an annoying child actor in particular.

An abandoned (cursed) linocut print from my #folksongfebruary project. This one was for John Barleycorn which dates back to the 1600s in written form but is conceivably much older; a rural ballad that reads like an especially gruesome folk horror story.

Been QUITE an eventful day at work. And despite that, finishing before 5.30om. I mean, it was meant to be a 3pm but hey ho.

The funniest things I’ve ever seen was a big square cow at an agricultural show. Big cow was lying down, fella tapped its flank to make it stand, cow stood & immediately foghorned out a guff so thunderously titanic it made his combover flip up like pedal bin lid & stream out sideways like a windsock
