Feeling frustrated that the clean tech industry (everything from heat pumps to solar panels to batteries) hasn't learned to lobby state governments in the way that the gas industry has. As I make my bajillionth phonecall to try to save NY's climate law

I was feeling bummed and undecided about going to the No Kings march today. I decided to run there (reliable way to lift my mood), and ended up helping to hold a giant Constitution. After I grabbed on, one of the other marchers said "feel more connected now, right?" And he was right.

I'm also tired of the idea that these goals are zero-sum. Individual activists have limited capacity, but we can reach different people with different motivations. Some people want to shut down fossil fuels, some people want to build new renewables, and those aren't always the same people!
