It’s cruel that the White House continues to try every possible way to keep kids and families in need from receiving food assistance.  Stop attacking SNAP and get to work to end this shutdown.

Open enrollment on the Colorado exchange starts today. Families will now be able to see just how much their monthly premiums will increase. Republicans need to work with us to extend the ACA premium tax credits and make health care affordable for working families.

Coloradans are starting to receive notice about what the cost of their insurance will be next year if the ACA premium tax credits aren’t extended. A couple in their 60s in Larimer County will now be paying $1,987/month – a colossal 1114% increase compared to the $164/month they paid this year.

Wow. If Republicans don’t work with us to extend the ACA tax credits, health care premiums for a family of four in Colorado will DOUBLE. In rural areas, families could see even higher prices.

Tariffs are bad for business, bad for consumers, and bad for America.  We voted to end these senseless taxes. Now, the House needs to come back from their paid vacation and help us lower prices for working families.

This is another overreach from an agency pulling people off the streets. Instead of going after dangerous criminals, they detained a father and handcuffed his 12 and 15 year old kids on their way to school. No due process, no probable cause. It’s indefensible. ICE’s inhumane treatment needs to stop.

Tariffs are a tax that American small businesses (and our economy) can’t afford.  We should be doing all we can to uplift our small businesses, not crush them.
