The reports of violence, arbitrary arrests, and intimidation tactics by the American regime against its own people are profoundly concerning. Canada strongly condemns the killing of protesters, and urges the US to allow for freedom of expression and peaceful assembly without fear of reprisal.

Government is the key. If they move to bluesky or other platform, media will have to follow. And those interested in news will follow the media.

I think it's the other way around: Government still being on X is why journalists are still on X.
