Giving asylum seekers the right to work would reduce the burden on government spend, bring in more tax, help people integrate faster, and fill labour shortages.

Saying the U.K. is implementing sharia law doesn’t make sense. Sharia is a religious code followed voluntarily by Muslims. They aren’t legally binding. It’s no different from Jewish practices, like praying three times per day, or Catholic practices, like Mass on Sundays

The problem with UK asylum hotel rhetoric is that the only connotations people protesting their use have of hotels is ‘holiday’. They see ‘taxpayer funded asylum hotel’ and hear ‘two weeks on the lash in Benidorm’, as if all occupants are sitting around the pool sipping cocktails at our expense.
