Does anyone have a recommendation for a textbook that could be used for both mineralogy and ig/met petrology courses? I’m trying to reduce the number of books my students need to purchase and have found that hard copies work better for them than online-only options.

One year ago today I found Gregory in the back of a cage at a shelter. He was the oldest cat and had been there the longest... and his sad eyes broke my heart. Today he's a sassy, talkative friend who sits with me while I take photos of space. Happy adoption day Greggers!

Just saw news about a local HS that forfeited their entire varsity season due to ineligible players. Some guy supposedly not affiliated with the school allegedly payed parents to transfer their kids there. (Hawaii people might know this school since they played, and fought, St. Louis recently.)
