The day the UK realizes that the European Union is not about economics, but politics and a shared vision of the world/society, will be a national epiphany. I would tend to disregard anything the UK says when associated with the word âeconomicsâ (or âblocâ). Go beyond mercantilism.

Here we have another Brit crying and blaming the EU for the consequences of their Brexshit. Including the tabloid language about "Brussels" being the bogeyman. I'm sick to the back teeth of them, and I am a staunch Brexiter as an EU citizen.

How the "pro-EU" Brits are "making friends" in Europe: by blaming the EU for the consequences of Britain's choices. With every one of these posts I become more staunchly pro-Brexit as an EU citizen.

Nauseating. Sick. Arrogance, entitlement, dishonesty in abundance. Brexit Britain ladies and gentlemen, where the consequences of British actions are the fault of the UK.

There was nothing to stop the British government from letting millions of EU citizens who have been taxpayers in Britain for years to vote on the referendum, but they told us to jog on and đ we would not lose our rights.

Nine years ago OTD the UK triggered art. 50 TFEU. Probably the best day ever for the EU. Thanks to Michel Barnier and his team for driving such a hard bargain in the following negotiations.

You left the EU and excluded yourselves from the Single Market which is the largest competitive labour market in Europe. And now youâre lecturing us about being afraid of competition?

Can't we use this to say: look, EU rules don't allow us to kick a country out of the EU but then EU rules were never written for a member state that works with our enemy so we're kicking you out and then we strangle you economically in ways that make the impact in Greece of the euro crisis a picnic?

And that was only the last part of it. How much do you think other Europeans appreciated listening to gobshites like Farage belittle our nations? de Gaulle was always right about the UK. I'm just glad it meant we got to join & finally break our economic & cultural dependency on them.

Caveat emptor. The UK was never a reluctant European, it was always a conditional one. Brexit cleared the air; the EU now integrates without British exceptionalism as ballast. Re-entanglement risks reintroducing the old frictions. Distance has its virtues.

Nah if they donât reduce tuition cost then they are simply not to be included. We should promote internal EU youth movement instead. That promotes cohesion. They donât hold any cards at all. The status quo on touring benefits us. Why would we give that away?

As always, it is not productive for EU to put pressure on UK: UK is in its own world, oblivious to anything outside. UK politicians will utter some words, but they simply do not register what others are saying. Its best to end the Reset and try again a few years later.
