I wonder what it would take for me to consider a deck My Perfect Deck in Commander. It would need to have highly varied spells based game play, likely a smash of my Temur Schemes and Chaos Wand decks. Like having ways to loop Memory Plunder on repeat reliably.

Imagine if Yuriko had Commander Sneak instead of Ninjutsu. I think that would be pretty cool.

Its kinda crazy that it is probably true that Red is the weakest color in commander, but also just like inexplicably gets The Best Designed Cards for the format.

Every time I see @aliasv.bsky.social on coverage im so confused cuz I strongly associate her with Elder Dragon Hijinks which I hold completely separate from competitive magic but its always really cool to see her there.

One more day posting the best card ever printed for Commander in Magic the Gathering. It doesn't matter what point in the game it is, this is always a correct spell to cast.

Im now imagining @hwstmtg.bsky.social as a commander creature that says something like "each Non-Creature spell you cast has assist" and "whenever you cast a spell paid for by another player each of those players draw a card" or something.

So my Chaos Wand deck has a sleeve for its commander as many decks do.... but in that sleeve is a growing collection of cards that COULD BE my commander for the deck. Anhelo is still default but I recently added Azula to this confusing polycule.

I have read this card so many times and yet only now realized it says "copy any number of..." this card is hilarious.

Undaunted is a good mechanic put on the wrong cards. It asks you to have many opponents but then the effects are all late game. Imagine an Undaunted Cultivate however, this card would be excellent because it is a Set Up card which is what Undaunted wants to be.

Im starting to get how the "But it was just a card I owned" part of "Everything is a 7" works cuz I started find people willing to trade again and immediately want to throw Stormchaser's Talent and Flashback into my decks. Like trading is fun, these cards are fun, and I want my deck to be fun

I recently got to play a mono-red Dandan built around 4 Damage Dilemmas Molten Influence and Risk Factor with Scorching Missile as the only direct damage and having a bunch of copy effects. It managed to overcome the play draw problem pretty nicely due to focusing on dilemmas.

I got my hands on a Ledger Shredder for my mirko deck a few weeks ago. I've always wanted one, it is such a cool card.

Looking at my 7 commander decks I could probably be happy reducing it down to 2... just Kros and Mirko. They're less Spectacular but dynamic and consistently fun.

Probably the coolest deck I see at Pauper nights is Posion Storm. A kind of crazy deck that really asks its pilots to think multiple steps ahead in order to secure a creatureless win. Its also one Food Pestilence has a really hard time with so I have to study pretty hard.

I complain about Affinity a lot but you know what the worst thing that could happen to pauper in my mind? Losing it. Its such a good deck and a steady one. It lets old heads in magic have something to love and something to hate which are both good imo. Its a deck you can ride forever and thats good

The local pauper group really fills my heart with so much joy. Like letting me go to the drag show, getting will that poster, will making a zine. This is all the sort of child-like joy and love Ive missed so much. Like the group is just so awesome and I love them

Almost certain this has been asked previously but what do folks think of the idea of an Upheaval unban in #EDH? As a card that peels multiple lands it probably counts as mass land removal and thus auto-B4s itself which is exactly the home for it. Bracket 4 is also an entitely safe home for it imo
