This is also represents a perpetuation of a weird obsession with big monuments & sites that were totally anomalous in the Neolithic. That tell us virtually nothing about the everyday lifeways of people who lived in the 3rd millennium BCE.

I biked out to Caesar's Camp hillfort a couple weeks ago. It covers about 17.2 acres & is one of the largest in southern England. It isn't the best land for farming, so it's thought to have been more of a marketplace under the Catuvellanuni. I found the bank & ditch in the trees! #HillfortsWednesday

Anyone still unsure of the difference between a publisher and a vanity press? Here it is. Publishers make money from selling books to the public. Vanity presses make money from selling publishing services to authors. In one model, the author gets paid. In the other, the author gets charged. Simple.
