I think I agree as far as to say they are both using XP as a concept to orient thought around play, but I feel like it's very obviously pointing in different directions.

The Boston metro area has a population of about 5 million. About 6% or 300k of those would be kids 4 and under. With 4000 daycares that is 1 facility for every 75 kids. I don't know about you, but those numbers suggest to me that the Boston area actually needs WAY MORE daycare facilities.
