I live in one of the most park poor neighborhoods in Los Angeles and they are spending $26 million to build a new half-acre park that also includes a 50 stall underground parking garage

looks like roughly 5 min frequency on the A and E lines right now which means the regional connector is hitting it's planned operational ceiling of a train each direction every 2.5 minutes

Some highlights from our new research: Single family zoning makes up 36% of residential land within 1/2 mi of high quality transit stops (Rail, BRT) in LA These are lines we've spent BILLIONS to build. Combined with R2 and Parking, 45% of land near these stops are zoned exclusively low density

The City of LA is SPENDING money (during a budget crisis) to STOP Venice Dell - an affordable housing project that the public wants, the City desperately needs, & that 👏 WAS 👏 ALREADY 👏 APPROVED 👏 by the City & the State. (Even a federal Judge spoke up about it 👨‍⚖️)

Brutal few weeks with Metro trying to kill one of LA County's longest stretches of protected bike lanes to protect maybe 30 parking spaces on Glenoaks and ignoring bike lanes on Vermont which is the deadliest street in LA most years to protect a few hundred parking spaces spread out over 12 miles

This bike lane would have been the 2nd longest protected bike lane in LA County and it was killed by LA Metro without even a single public discussion.
