New taller fare gates are being installed at Wilshire/Vermont and Vermont/Santa Monica stations. We've seen a big jump in fare compliance at 3 stations with the new gates (Firestone, Lake, LAX/MTC). More fare compliance = safer system! (more)

Started counting # people with luggage arriving & departing LAX/Metro Transit Center today and lost count! LAX shuttles run every 10 mins to/from terminals — catch bus by pink columns on arrivals level at LAX. At LAX/MTC, board LAX shuttles at Bus Bays 1 & 2 at bottom of escalators from trains.
