This guy thinks bc his family put down money for the Beltline he gets more of a say than the 100k+ Atlantans that voted on the More MARTA referendum, pay taxes, & live & work here each day. We need to stop letting corporate billionaires run our city or nothing will ever change.

Make no mistake. The forces against BL rail are the same ones that gave us Cop City. And the only Atlanta they're protecting is theirs.

The City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management has issued a boil water advisory for the downtown corridor due to an internal power failure at the Hemphill Water Treatment Plant. Power has been restored. This advisory is out of an abundance of caution. See maps for impacted areas.

That's great! What would be even greater is if the Metropolitan ATL area actually had one of the nations largest combined rapid transit and regional rail systems! That would be something to brag about. All that sprawl and car dependency isn't cute.

Do we think the Southside trail from 75/85 to Boulevard will be usable tomorrow after the Blinkies? In last monthās ABI progress report they said it should be done the first week of May.

Oh, to have a mayor that loves the city and its constituents.
@andreforatlanta.com
is focused on making life as hard as possible for Atlantans. No beltline rail, cop city, giving away tax dollars to out of town developers, no protected bike lanes, 30% filled potholes, no actual affordable housing.

So it sounds like ABI is paying for this. Their reasoning for doing this seems wishy-washy at very best and like a huge waste of money, fully out-of-scope of ABI at worst.

Is there a way with AT Toolbox to create an app password that could then be automatically deleted after itās used? I see the Create a Service Auth JWT shortcut, but I donāt really know what that does.

This shockingly good traffic safety study by
@midtown-atl.bsky.social
is data-driven and comes to the correct conclusions, but doesnāt make recommendations for improvements in a non-nebulous sense. Iāll be interested to see if they push the envelope with safety improvements in the coming years.

Of the places we've visited on book tour, it's Atlanta that brought this home for me. Arguably the e-bike capital of the U.S. right now, as its bike culture has now grown up alongside the rise of e-bikes. Makes the hills, heat and distances non-issues, especially with the growing bike network.
