Why is this Boeing 777 not like any other? Because this one is N777UA, the first one placed into revenue service by any airline--and still flying for United 30 years later after multiple maintenance cycles, cabin renewals and trips to the paint shop.

I took my first ever nonrev adventure over the past 27 hours to see my goddaughter (& her momma) cheer at her football game & go homecoming dance shopping. It was so very simple yet made my heart so full. How lucky am I to be able to hop on a plane to see the people I love?
