Just booked a flight on RyanAir (No other choice) and once it recognized I was using a US credit card it auto-opted me into their "guaranteed exchange rate" which increased the cost 7% over paying in local currency with my CC. Being elder millennials, we got a landline a few months ago, and we’ve put a few numbers into speed dial for the kids. Before dinner my wife says to my daughter “Let’s call Nana.” My daughter goes “Ok” and picks up the landline. She ended the conversation with a loud “Byeee!”. I was speechless.
